American Roots Music
Inspired by the music of Paul Butterfield, Dr. John, Taj Mahal, and many others, Max is part of the new generation of New York State roots musicians. A native of Syracuse, NY – he continues to entertain audiences throughout the area. He has performed at The New York State Blues Festival, Taste of Syracuse, The Earlville Opera House, The Palace Theater, The Smith Opera House, The Dinosaur BBQ, and a range of other venues. Max has recorded on multiple studio projects including the Diana Jacob’s album entitled “What She Needs” featuring six time Grammy award winner Randy Brecker.
Max is regular member of Los Blancos and frequently performs as a duo with SAMMY award winner Colin Aberdeen. He has shared the stage with Diana Jacobs, Funky Blu Roots, Jane Zell, Tom Townsley, The Hi-Jivers, Joe Beard, Brandon Santini, and many others.
In 2017, he began performing across Central New York with guitarist John Driscoll featuring a heavy focus on blues and New Orleans soul.

In The Studio
In 2018, Max recorded two tracks on the Diana Jacobs album What She Needs. Also featured on the album was Grammy award winning trumpet player Randy Brecker. Max can be heard on “What She Needs” and “Somethin’ That’s Real”.
Max also collaborated with the Brian Golden Blues Experiment on their record The High Divided (2020), and can be heard on “Cowboy Song” and “Nothing But Love“.
